Affiliate disclosure
Some product links on Glowdly may earn us a commission. Here's how that works and what it does and doesn't change.
Last updated: [DATE — update before launch]
The short version
- Some product links on Glowdly are affiliate links.
- If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
- Commissions don't decide what we recommend. [CONFIRM against your matching logic]
- Products are matched to a routine step and to what your scan found.
What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a special link that lets a store know you came from Glowdly. If you make a purchase, the store may pay us a small commission. The price you pay stays the same.
Where you'll see affiliate links
- Recommended products in your report and in the app
- Product examples in routines and guides
- Emails and social posts that mention products — [Keep only if true. Social and email posts need their own in-post disclosure such as #ad or affiliate link next to the link]
Affiliate links are marked with a short note, such as “Some links may earn us a commission.”
How we choose products
- Each product is matched to one routine step (cleanser, serum, moisturiser, SPF) and to what your scan found.
- We offer Budget, Mid and Premium options so you can choose what suits your budget.
- We recommend products we’d be comfortable suggesting whether or not they pay us.
- Brands can’t pay to be recommended, ranked higher or described more favourably. [CONFIRM. If you ever add sponsored placements, you must label them as sponsored.]
Who we earn from
We currently have no active affiliate partnerships. [Update this before launch.]
[NOTE] If you join Amazon Associates, add their required statement here, e.g. “As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.” Check their current terms for the exact wording required.
What it doesn't change
- You pay the same price.
- You never have to buy anything to get your scan, score or routine.
- Product pages and retailers are separate from Glowdly. Their prices, stock and policies are theirs. Check ingredients and patch-test, especially if you have sensitive skin or allergies.
Your privacy when you click
When you click a product link, the retailer may receive standard information such as the page you came from and, if you buy, order details. We don't share your face photo or your scan scores with retailers.
[CONFIRM] Verify this matches your actual affiliate link implementation before launch.
